Heather
McCue is a certified childbirth educator through ALACE, a practicing doula since 2001, a certified doula through DONA, a member
and the B.C. Representative for the Canadian
Doula Association, and is a member (and webmaster) of the Greater Victoria Doula Directory. She brings to
her classes and doula clients practical
hands-on experience,
a thorough
understanding
of
the childbearing
year, and a great respect and sensitivity of this intimate
moment in time.
She has experience working with:
- first time moms,
- mom's with previous children,
- mom's planning a natural birth
- mom's planning a cesarean birth,
- mom's planning a vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC),
- heterosexual families,
- homosexual families,
- mom's without partners,
- mom's with partners,
- mom's with various religious affiliations,
- etc.
