Cesarean Section Support-

International Cesarean Awareness Network (ICAN) - local Victoria chapter, meeting on the third Wednesday of each month in the "Groups Room" at the Juan de Fuca Library from 7pm-9pm. For more information, contact Anna Young or call 474-4300 (9am-9pm).

Jeanette McMillian runs a VBAC class for those parents preparing for their next child after a cesarean birth. Through use of the "Pink Kit" and various other methods, moms come to better understand how to make the most of their individual pelvis to create the most space for baby to navigate through and be born, discussion over the emotional impact of the first cesarean and how to mentally prepare for a VBAC, etc. Contact 370-4578 and ask for VBAC class information.
